Community
Whilst the Hillhouse Group is now a major building materials force in Scotland, it has its roots firmly fixed in the local Troon area. The group provides support and assistance to specially selected local initiatives and charities.
The Group has provided annual support to the local Dundonald community for many years and annually supports the Dundonald Games and the Dundonald Show. Hillhouse is proud to sponsor these local events.
With Dundonald wood forming part of the Group land ownership it is fitting that the Group supported the development of the Dundonald Woodland Pathway and continues that support today.
The Group supports many other local charities and individuals, a selection of whom in the last year have included:

In addition, Hillhouse provides an educational venue for many schools and colleges looking to see how the building blocks of the built environment are turned from rock to reality. In the past year visits have been arranged for the following:
- Ayrshire Councils Children with Special Needs
- Dundonald Primary School
- Marr College
