Surfacing
The Hillhouse Group provides the full range range of surfacing works and offer the same high quality service whether it is a large scale commercial project or a small scale domestic one.
The Group's surfacing operations is made up of Hillhouse Contracts and Kyle Tarmacadam. A full range of surfacing works is undertaken including highway surfacing in both the private and public sectors, car parks, footpaths, driveways, farm roads and all patching/repair works.
Hillhouse surfacing operations have a regular client base which includes the local authorities, local contractors and private individuals. Major projects include: access roads and car parks at Hunterston Power Station, car parks at Prestwick Airport, sections of the Irvine By-pass and a number of new retail parks. Hillhouse surfacing is also Sector Scheme 16 approved.
Other Services
Hillhouse also offer a full service from site clearing through to final surfacing, including excavations, drainage, kerbing and bottoming.
Other services include concrete works and decorative surface dressings.
Safety Surfaces
Kyle Tarmacadam have expertise in the supply and application of rubberised wet pour safety surfacing for children's play areas. 'Kyle Playsafe' has been developed as an impact-absorbing surface used in many play areas around Ayrshire and the West of Scotland to provide additional safety for children at play.
The surface is a very durable resin bound product, and can be used in other situations such as horse walking areas and sports areas to reduce stress and noise. Over many years covering many applications, Kyle Tarmacadam have built up a well trained and experienced team of specialists in the application of this virtually seamless system.
